At this point you have a pretty good level. One thing you might find is getting stuck at a certain plateau, where your level doesn’t seem to advance even when doing a lot of practice.

To avoid plateauing, you have to challenge yourself and experiment!

Here are some things you can try:

• Watch comedy. Understanding jokes often requires very subtle understanding.
• Hold an (online) event where you have to speak in the target language, like a webinar on a topic of your interest.
• Organize activities with natives.
• Write and publish blog posts in the target language.

To get better comprehension, it’s very important to start listening in natural environments, that are noisy, where speech is unclear with mumbles and rapid topic changes.
